Five Star Structural Concrete HTR® is a premium, high-performance, heat-resistant structural repair mortar engineered for the rehabilitation and restoration of concrete exposed to elevated temperatures and demanding industrial environments. Designed to deliver exceptional compressive strength, durability, and long-term performance, it restores structural integrity while minimizing downtime in critical facilities.
Formulated for use in severe service conditions, Five Star Structural Concrete HTR® maintains its performance under thermal exposure, making it an ideal solution for industrial plants, refineries, power generation facilities, steel and cement plants, petrochemical complexes, and other high-temperature applications. Its excellent bond strength, low shrinkage, and durable composition ensure permanent repairs that withstand harsh operating conditions.
Five-Star Structural Concrete HTR is a high early strength, single component permanent repair material specifically designed for environments exposed to sustained high temperatures and thermal cycling. Supplied in a 25 kg bag. Exposed to 540°C in 6 hours and withstanding thermal cycling up to 1,320°C in 7 days, it is the go-to choice for coker, kiln, foundry, and steel mill repairs where standard repair materials fail under heat.
Data reflects typical results based on laboratory testing under controlled conditions. Reasonable variations may result.
Supplied in a 25 kg bag. Yield — 12.4 liters. Shelf life is one year in original unopened packaging stored dry.
Surfaces must be clean, sound and rough — prepared to coarse aggregate exposure, free of oil, grease and laitance. Remove all loose material and provide a sound substrate. Saturate with potable water prior to application.
Add clean potable water to a mechanical mixer, then add powder gradually. Mix 3–4 minutes to a uniform, lump-free consistency. Working time is approximately 15–20 minutes at 21°C.
Apply by trowel, hand-pack, or form-and-pour. For thicker sections, place in layers, consolidating each layer before applying the next.
Wet cure continuously for a minimum of 2 hours after final set. Protect from direct sun and wind during curing. Allow to reach required strength before exposing to service temperatures.
Prior to application, read all product packaging thoroughly. For detailed placement procedures refer to Five Star® Design-A-Spec™ or call +971 56 408 1507. Contains cementitious material and crystalline silica — refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use.
